Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how TroveDeck Solution (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use TroveDial (“the App”), a mobile and web application for internet radio and podcast streaming.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile name and email.
- Usage data: We collect anonymized usage data including stations played, listening duration, favorites, and feature usage to improve the app experience.
- Device information: We collect a device identifier (generated locally) to manage device limits for license activation. We do not collect IMEI, phone number, or contacts.
- Advertising ID: On the free tier, Google AdMob collects your Android Advertising ID to serve and measure ads. See section 3.
- Location (optional): If you grant permission, we use approximate location (IP-based or GPS) to suggest radio stations from your country. Location data is not stored on our servers.
- Support tickets: When you submit a support ticket, we store the ticket content and your email to respond to your inquiry.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not record or store audio from your microphone
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or files
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not use analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook Pixel)
3. Advertising
The free tier of TroveDial shows ads. They are served by Google AdMob and are full-screen only — there are no banner ads anywhere in the app. You will see at most one interstitial every 7 minutes when switching station, and you can optionally watch one rewarded ad to get 30 minutes ad-free (“Ad-Free Boost”).
Google AdMob collects your Android Advertising ID and shares it with third parties to serve and measure advertising. This is the only identifier collected for advertising purposes. Premium subscribers see no ads and no ad requests are made for them.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which also lets you opt out of ad personalisation. Ad delivery is governed by Google’s Advertising Policies.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the service (streaming, favorites sync, account management)
- To process purchases and manage your subscription tier
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, support ticket replies)
- To serve and measure ads on the free tier
- To improve the app based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on a secured VPS server. We use HTTPS for all data transmission, bcrypt for password hashing, and JWT for session authentication. We do not store passwords in plain text.
6. Third-Party Services
| Service | What it is used for |

7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
